NKG will host a January 2012 group exhibition in which a prize of a solo exhibition in 2012 will be awarded.

National show -open to all artists residing in the US (no work shipped from outside the US).
$30 entry fee. Paypal available on the NKG website for electronic entries, and cash/ check for regular mail entries.
Submit three to five JPEGs. Work welcome in any wall-based media (painting, drawing, photography, etc.), sculpture, video and performance.
Must be ready to hang or display in a professional manner. Framing for wall-based art is not required if the work presents itself appropriately and safely without framing (No clip frames please!).
All work must be the property of the artist and available for sale (no NFS designations). 50% of sale price goes to artist, 50% to NK Gallery.
All work is fully insured for loss and damage for artist portion of sale price while in the gallery. NK Gallery requires that the work be insured during shipping, as the artist bears the full responsibility for loss and damage to art while in transit. NKG retains the right to decide which work is included in exhibition.
Entries must be received no later than 4 pm, December 2, 2011.
Submit three to five JPEG format files either by e-mail or regular mail (see below for specific addresses). Image files should be 300ppi, no larger than approximately 4” x 6”. If you prefer to send a CD or DVD of the images by regular mail, please insure the files can be opened in either Preview or Photoshop. NO web-links or URLs for images will be accepted.
Provide the following information: your name, mailing address, email address, phone number, title of each piece (with clear instructions to which JPEG to which you refer), media used, dimensions, date, sale price. (Artist resume/bio on acceptance to exhibition will be required).

Artists may hand deliver their entries during regular gallery hours (Wed - Sat 11am - 4 pm).

Exhibition dates: Opens January 6, 2012 and closes January 21, 2012. Opening Reception January 6, 2012 from 5-8pm. All artist and their guests are welcome.
If your work is accepted, it must arrive at NKG no later than January 4, 2012. Hand delivery and pick up of accepted work possible but only by arrangement.
Artists are responsible for shipping costs in both directions. Pack securely. No use of Styrofoam packing pellets, (bubble wrap fine). No glass on framing of wall-based work, Plexiglas only. Work that arrives at gallery damaged will be returned un-displayed. NKG is not responsible for work damaged in transit.
NKG will pay for all reception and promotion costs of exhibition.
Unsold work will be packed by NKG in the shipping containers they arrived in, and returned promptly to the artists within 30 days of closing the exhibition.
