I have always been moved by the life force in nature, flowers, shrubs, trees, all signify a strength and resiliency, connections, beauty, death and decay, cycle of life, the power of the earth in adversity. So many metaphors that I cannot list them all. The end result for an artist that is actively connected to this phenomenon all their life yet continues to be awed by the power and simultaneous vulnerability is that I create works that try to capture some of that wonder and resonance. A priceless gift that we are given by nature. I have separated these works into individual topics (symphonies) so each of my explorations (movements) can be seen. Hence the symphony of BioMorphic Floral is presented here. Please remember that in my work, everything is connected, even separate symphonies can overlap with the same movement occurring in many ways so the separation in a sense can be artificial.
